Since his last residency at La Galerie 38, however, he has also been producing exceptional oil on canvas works, which will be on show at 1-54 London. The artist has embarked on a truly carnal work of art, using brushes, knives and even his own hands.<\/p>\n<p>Ce mouvement, cette libert\u00e9 dans le geste cr\u00e9atif se ressentent face aux derni\u00e8res toiles de l\u2019artiste. Il laisse le regard du spectateur libre interpr\u00e8te des chor\u00e9graphies de puissantes silhouettes ancr\u00e9es dans des tourbillons de mati\u00e8re color\u00e9e. Ses \u0153uvres nous paraissent presque \u00eatre des bas-reliefs tant la p\u00e2te est \u00e9paisse et travaill\u00e9e. Le corps \u00e0 corps de l\u2019artiste avec la toile y est litt\u00e9ralement palpable. Des bleus Klein, du rouge carmin, des jaunes vifs, des verts intenses, des gris orang\u00e9s, des noirs profonds, c\u2019est face \u00e0 cette palette d\u2019une riche diversit\u00e9 que le spectateur devra prendre un peu de recul pour appr\u00e9hender le r\u00e9cit que l\u2019artiste lui conte. Des tableaux desquels se d\u00e9gagent des personnages dont on peut penser percevoir quelques membres. Mais o\u00f9 se dessinent \u00e9galement des traits de cr\u00e9atures. Certains sont assis, d\u2019autres se tiennent debout fermement ou au contraire vacillent.
