INES-NOOR CHAQROUN

Ines-Noor Chaqroun is a visual artist born in Casablanca in 1992. Since her childhood in Morocco, she has been taught academic painting and has shown a particular interest in expressionism, yet her technique is undeniably intuitive. Her technical training at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, the Academia del Arte in Florence and the Berlin Art Institute, as well as her theoretical training in Toronto, where she obtained a certificate in art and design criticism, have enabled her to arrive at a crystal-clear conclusion – her vocation is to be an artist.

What interests her in her creative process is to feel the work intrinsically, ontologically, literally. Indeed, it is with disarming sincerity that Ines-Noor Chaqroun chooses to open up and address the intimate, the source of life. Through her organic, circular and ovarian forms, Ines-Noor Chaqroun speaks to us with authenticity about the origin and very essence of the human being.
