On the occasion of its 15th anniversary, Galerie 38 reaffirms the vision that has guided it since its founding in Casablanca in 2010 by Fihr Kettani and Mohammed Chaoui El Faiz: to conceive of art as a realm of experimentation, boldness, and the free circulation of ideas. Having established itself as a committed and discerning actor on both the African and international art scenes, the gallery champions an art in constant motion—firmly embedded within global networks of contemporary creation and shaped by artists who continually challenge the boundaries of form and medium.
Its development reflects and extends this ambition. Following its establishments in Casablanca and Marrakech (2023), a new space will open in Geneva in 2025 under the partnership of Julie Fazio, with the aim of fostering a dynamic ecosystem in which works and artists circulate across continents and audiences. Through its participation in major international art fairs—1-54, Art Dubai, Art Genève, Abu Dhabi Art, AKAA, among others—the gallery consolidates its position as a platform for global dialogue and international visibility.
After an inaugural chapter presented in Casablanca in December 2025 and a second in Geneva in January, Volume 3 of “The Manifesto of Possibilities – 15 Years of Vision by Galerie 38” was unveiled in Marrakech, in a dedicated space within Ambiances d’Ailleurs (68 Rue Tarik Ibn Ziad, Guéliz). The opening took place on February 5 at 7 p.m., as part of the 1-54 Marrakech Gallery Night.
This collective exhibition brings together works by Ghizlane Agzenaï, Meriam Benkirane, Max Boufathal, Ines-Noor Chaqroun, Soly Cissé, Philippe Dodard, Youssef Douieb, Kendell Geers, Mustapha Hafid, Mohamed Hamidi, Yacout Hamdouch, Younes Khourassani, Jems Koko Bi, Abdoulaye Konaté, Siriki Ky, Mohamed Lekleti, Adjaratou Ouedraogo, Carlos Salas, Fathiya Tahiri, Barthélémy Toguo, and Dominique Zinkpè.
