INNER WORLDS, UNDER OPEN SKIES

17.09.26 – 19.12.26

Inner Worlds, Under Open Skies brings together a previously unseen body of recent paintings by Dia al-Azzawi, presented for the first time in Geneva. Structured around two complementary bodies of work, Inner Worlds and Under Open Skies, the exhibition explores the dialogue between interior space and landscape, personal memory and the sensory experience of the world.

The artist creates a universe in which nature, architecture, memory, and imagination converge. Infused with a vibrant palette, his paintings celebrate the poetry of everyday life and the beauty of the living world, gradually dissolving the boundaries between reality, memory, and inner projection.

Through this new body of work, Dia al-Azzawi reveals a more intimate and contemplative dimension of his practice, in which colour becomes a space of freedom, memory, and contemplation.
