La Galerie 38 presents the exhibition “African Dreamer” by the artist Médéric Turay who is one of the most fashionable young African artists of our century.
Through this new exhibition, Médéric Turay mixes traditional materials with modern techniques: he builds, cuts, accumulates, composes with energy and spontaneity moments of life. He transcends disciplinary barriers to impose his own urban style.
His artistic signature, which he calls “Trace”, reflects his perfectionism. For Médéric Turay, an artist has never reached his goal, he must be in constant development, and always seeks to improve his art. The only thing he can do is to leave a “trace” behind him, on his path and in the countries he passes through.
