“Thanks to my crossbreeding, which is the expression of a high-performance genetic mix and a cultural blend at the cutting edge of the demands of our time, I use art as a training ground.”

Max Boufathal

Max Boufathal, born in Paris in 1983, is a Franco-Moroccan sculptor. Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nantes, he developed a personal approach to sculpture, employing simple materials such as survival blankets and papier-mâché, in the spirit of Arte Povera.

His work is characterized by monumental sculptures, populated by mythological figures and soldiers, creating a protective army. He exhibits in prestigious venues such as the CAPC in Bordeaux and the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris.
