ÉCOUTER L’EAU
14.09.26 - 10.10.26

Listening to Water was presented at La Galerie 38 in Casablanca, in partnership with the Fondation BMCI.

Bringing together works by Abdoulaye Konaté, Barthélémy Toguo, Fathiya Tahiri, Najia Mehadji, Ines-Noor Chaqroun, Yacout Hamdouch, Meriam Benkirane, Mmaribenn, and Nissrine Seffar, the exhibition fostered a dialogue between different generations of artists, exploring water, environmental transformations, and the futures we collectively inhabit.

Through a diversity of artistic practices and sensibilities, the works on view explored the rhythms, tensions, silences, and metamorphoses of water. They invited us to reconsider our perspective: to listen rather than seek to control, to attend to what so often flows unnoticed, and to question the ways in which we inhabit the world.

Listening to Water thus offered a poetic and contemplative reflection on an essential resource, while also examining the profound connections that bind us to our environments and the transformations unfolding within them.
