 This quote from Victor Hugo perfectly represents the state of mind of the creators of La Galerie 38. Born in 2010 in Casablanca from a meeting between two art lovers, Fihr Kettani and Mohammed Chaoui El Faiz, La Galerie 38 is historically located in the heart of the Studio des Arts Vivants, a cultural and artistic centre which also houses the School of Performing Arts and a professional theatre. Working since the beginning to promote contemporary art in Casablanca, it is now in Marrakech that La Galerie 38 is established to continue this work. A second space opened its doors in an ideal location in the heart of the Guéliz district where history and modernism coexist.

A showcase where singular visions in diverse plastic forms of renowned artists are highlighted. The gallery is also an incubator for emerging talents, offering them a space for unlimited expression and creativity. It invites reflection and contemplation both through its in situ programming and through its participation in major international art fairs. La Galerie 38, convinced that art is the best way to bring together women and men from all over the world, contributes to the writing of the narrative of artistic modernity in Morocco and beyond its borders.
