"I like my shadows to be living shadows: even if the people are long dead, I resurrect them, give them life on the wall and they belong to the street again." Jef Aerosol

Jef Aérosol, master of the stencil, is undoubtedly one of the pioneers of French street art, whose iconographic pop-rock-folk universe, signed with his famous red arrow, has for more than 30 years invested the facades and galleries of the four corners of the globe.

Known for his portraits of personalities such as Lennon, Hendrix, Basquiat, Dylan, Mandela… as well as for his creations dedicated to anonymous street people: musicians, passers-by, children whose life-size silhouettes he paints in black and white, Jef Aérosol has left his mark on the walls of many cities: Paris, London, Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona, Venice, Rome, Amsterdam, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Brussels, Zurich, Beijing, Tokyo, Palermo, Dublin, Belfast, Ljubljana, Athens, Reunion, Tours, Lyon, Lille…
